The most visible energy savings are achieved by frequency regulation of the number of revolutions of asynchronous electric motors (frequency regulated pumps, fans and other drive motors). In well-regulated motor drives, the speed of rotation is exactly that the process requires and the consumption is minimal required.

The financial savings that are realized depend primarily on the number of revolutions and the price of electricity.
